What direct connection means
Requests travel from your Mac to the named provider. MyFIREDesk does not proxy broker credentials, wallet addresses, or portfolio responses through a Sandro Dzneladze or MyFIREDesk server.
Providers necessarily receive normal network information such as your IP address and request time. Depending on the source, they may also receive a public wallet address, token contract, currency pair, instrument identifier, or user-created read-only broker credential. Their retention and processing are controlled by their own policies.

Coverage and reliability
- Third-party availability, schemas, permissions, rate limits, and terms can change.
- Market and foreign-exchange prices are reference values and may be delayed or unavailable.
- Unsupported, spam, NFT, DeFi, and unpriced token balances are excluded from portfolio totals.
- A failed optional price request can leave a quantity visible without a market value.

Your choices
You control which connections are enabled. Remove a source in the app to stop future refresh requests for it. Broker secrets remain protected by macOS Keychain; public addresses and local settings remain on your Mac until you remove the associated configuration or app data.
